Of Other Worlds

Of Other Worlds - the title of C.S. Lewis's posthumously published work were the starting point for discussion on creation of fantastic worlds. The conference was held by Koło Historii Krajów Anglosaskich and our Doctoral Students’ Association

It was dedicated to the topic of various representations of fictional or real, imagined or reinterpreted worlds in literature, historical sources, movies, comic books and games.

The conference panels included the following themes:

• Dune, Amber, Oz;
• Discworld, Middle Earth, Earthsea;
• Cimmeria, Atlantis, Averoigne;,
• Cockaigne, Utopia, Laputa;
• Forgotten Realms, Old World, Westeros;
